New passport rules in effect
If your summer vacation plans include traveling outside of the United States, including Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean, leaving home without proper identification may wipe out your vacation faster than you can say “surf’s up!”
Passport identification – or a very limited number of other travel documents – is now required to be presented by U.S. and Canadian citizens entering the United States by land or sea, as part of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, a nationwide effort to strengthen border security.

Honor flight carries WWII veterans to Washington D.C.
Honor Flight Network, a national organization that sponsors flights carrying World War II veterans to and from Washington D.C to visit their respective WWII memorials, along with other war memorials and historic sites, returned to MKE recently after the organization's third one-day, roundtrip flight.
